Alameda

On a high plateau above the city, the Alameda neighborhood sits on the 1859 claim of William and Isabelle Bowering.

Home to Fernhill, Wilshire and Grant parks, Alameda is a beautiful northeast neighborhood with quiet, tree-lined streets.  Homes located on the Alameda ridge have stunning views of Portland and the west hills framing the city.

This historical neighborhood boasts architecturally significant English, Queen Anne and bungalow style homes. Try walking the 4.4 mile loop on the Alameda Ridge.  It includes a turnaround block at the 1927 mansion built by Thomas Autzen.
