Eastmoreland

Crystal Springs Rhododendron Gardens

Mature, tree lined streets pave the way to what is Eastmoreland.  Sprawling homes set back from the street with expansive lawns and beautiful gardens define it.  Newer neighborhoods cannot duplicate the charm and beauty of Eastmoreland.

Eastmoreland is located in south east Portland and is a 15 minute drive to downtown Portland.  There are approximately 1400 homes in the neighborhood lined with sidewalks which lure walkers of all ages outside to the tree lined streets.

Eastmoreland is home to Reed College, Crystal Spring Rhododendron Garden, Eastmoreland Golf Course and Berkeley Park.  The neighborhood also hosts a variety of walking tours, including two tree walks, a garden walk and a walk along the Springwater Corridor.  Additional events include the annual Duniway Holiday Home Tour held the first weekend in December, a neighborhood garage sale and a Fourth of July Parade and celebration.

The majority of the homes were built in the 1920’s and 1930’s and feature Tudor, Colonial and English Cottage architectural styles. The appeal of these unique homes is amplified by beautiful neighborhood parks and gardens.

A true sense of neighborhood.
