Welcome to Sellwood/Westmoreland

The Sellwood and Westmoreland Neighborhoods are located 5 miles south from downtown Portland and the area is easily accessible by car, bike and the new Orange Max line which crosses the Williamette via the Tillicum Crossing. The community features, parks, shopping , restaurants, coffee shops, movie theater, library with access to public transportation and the walking/biking Springwater Corridor Trail. A Farmer's Market is an easy stroll during the months of May-October.
The style of homes in these neighborhoods vary from Bungalow and cottages to Victorians and single level mid century homes. Many of the homes have been extensively and tastefully remodeled. Another popular trend is for infill builders to purchase property and rebuild, according to the character of the neighborhood and often feature green building practices.
There are numerous parks in the area including the Sellwood Riverfront Park with nearly 8 acres on the Williamette River as well as the 16 acre Sellwood Park with sports fields, walking paths, swimming pool and a tennis court.
